HOW TO BE YOUR OWN DAMN PRINCESS: A 10 Novel Soundtrack

Christine (aka lady.librocubicularist) struggles on a daily basis with life getting in the way of her reading. A teacher by trade and a writer by choice, Christine devotes herself to the English language in the way that only a true grammar nerd can. Her writing is inspired by the creations of Neil Gaiman, Erin Morgenstern, Tamora Pierce, Diana Wynne Jones, Clive Barker, David Eddings, and Terry Brooks (along with hundreds of others). Along with the written language, she dabbles in the art of the bookstagram and acrylic illustrations. She is a current blogger for Books Rock My World. When not reading or teaching, Christine can be found swimming in nearby bodies of water, attempting foolhardy but exciting new adventures (most recently Latin dance, rock climbing, and snowboarding), and spending quality time with her family and her evil cat-demon Oz the Great and Terrible. Love this list. Patricia Wrede and Ramona Pierce are two of my favorites!

Tamora* Pierce. Ugh, Autocorrect! I love all of hers but the Trickster books are particularly great. I got several new to-be-read ideas from you, thanks!

Great post. Any list that starts with Anne of Green Gables get a big thumbs up from me!

Right? Anne and Gilbert might be the only true romance I’ve ever paid attention to when I’m reading.

That’s 9 books added to me to-read list. Thanks! (The only one I’d read was “Anne of Green Gables”, silly me!)
